Due to repair works exhibition “Human Evolution” is closed.

The exhibition is a brief human evolution overview, from ancient primates up to modern humans. The exhibition showcases the historic perception of the development of humankind.

Various objects illustrate this process – tools, sculptural portraits, mural paintings and other.

In order to better understand the human body and similarities with animal world, the exhibition showcases skeletons as well as wet specimens of inner organs.

The exhibition was created in 1952. While the contents of the exhibition is gradually updated, the historic display of it is maintained as part of the museum's history.
