At the Latvian National Museum of Natural History, you can study and explore animal skeletons! Can you imagine what the sea lamprey, the Eurasian hoopoe, and the Eurasian lynx have in common?
The activity Skeleton quest and its tasks encourage visitors to learn about various creatures found in Latvia and around the world, as well as their skeletons. Can you identify an animal just by its bones? The answers can be found in the paleontology and zoology halls, as well as in the newest exhibition “Skeletarium.”
Skeleton quest is a self-guided activity for both children and adults. While completing the tasks, participants will read, write, and pay close attention to details.
