From July 10 to 12, the exhibition "Lilies 2025", created in cooperation with the association "Lilium Balticum", will be on display at the Latvian National Museum of Natural History. Lily exhibit is amongst most beautiful and beloved gardening exhibitions at the museum, and is being organized for more than 30 years.
Despite the late blooming this year, around 150 varieties of lilies from local gardens will be exhibited. Visitors will have a chance to appreciate not only the scents and shapes of lily blossoms, but, of course, will also enjoy the diversity of lily colors - there can be white, yellow, orange, pink and red lilies. Highlight of the exhibit are Oriental and trumpet lily varieties of which Latvia is particularly well known. "Lilium Balticum" will also present the new varieties of lilies.
Visitors will be able to vote for the lily that they think is the most beautiful.
At the exhibition, advice on planting and choosing varieties of lilies will be provided. Also, it will be possible to order lily bulbs.
The exhibition opens on Thursday, July 10, at 11:00
in the exhibition hall on the 2nd floor.
