
The exhibition will showcase around 400 local and international dahlia varieties, including the latest varieties created in Latvia. These flowers have remarkable colour and petal size and shape diversity. During the blooming season dahlias bring endless joy to gardeners and visitors of public parks and botanical gardens in Latvia.
The exhibition is organized in cooperation with members of the Society "Latvian dahlias" (Elīna Zaļā, Rita Zaļā and Evita Puzāne). Flowers of dahlia collections of Helga Ancāne, Aivars Baroniņš and Pēteris Pikše as well as the National Botanic Garden and the Botanical Garden of the University of Latvia will also be exhibited.
The exhibition opens on Thursday, August 4, 2025 at 12.00
in the exhibition hall on the 2nd floor.
