| Exhibit Birds of
Latvia
The exhibit Birds of Latvia was formed in 1973 by I. Stolbovs. Most of the birds found in Latvia are on display here (more than 320).
The exhibit features not only common bird species that inhabit Latvias forests (the titmouse and woodpecker), fields (the skylark and pipit), gardens (the white-throat warbler and starling), and cities (the jackdaw and crow), but also some very rare species found in Latvia such as migratory birds, rare nesters and accidental visitors. Examples of these include the white-headed vulture, the black vulture and the golden
eagle.
